MOTIE announced a Tender for 1.9 GW of Wind Power ( 0.4 GW Onshore Wind / 1.5 GW Offshore Wind)

In 2022, 374 MW of offshore wind power was selected.

In the future, the renewable energy market will be based on competitive bidding. It is evaluated that this will contribute to the spread of renewable energy supply by increasing the predictability and price stability through cost- effective renewable energy supply and long term fixed- price contracts.
